Hulo is a humanitarian logistics cooperative that optimizes aid delivery, reduces environmental impact, and develops digital solutions to address increasing humanitarian needs and climate challenges.
hulo is the first humanitarian cooperative founded in June 2021. Led by humanitarian organizations and integrating new members regularly, hulo aims to improve the impact of humanitarian aid by strengthening collaboration and the implementation of joint projects in its countries of intervention. At hulo we are convinced that the sharing and pooling of resources and expertise between organizations contributes to increasing the performance of humanitarian logistics and the supply chain.
Our action is based on a collaborative and participatory approach, collective intelligence and the animation of a community of practice. All our activities are structured around a common objective, involving several autonomous and interdependent stakeholders, who cooperate horizontally. Steering is distributed, based on consultation, co-responsibility and voluntary commitment.
In our 8 countries of intervention spread over 3 regions, we set up shared initiatives in the fields of purchasing, human resources and the environment. In support of humanitarian organizations, we coordinate shared international humanitarian transport initiatives for the most serious humanitarian crises. Finally, we are constantly developing digital solutions for the humanitarian community.
